If you’re looking for a meal option that combines impressive presentation with an equally noteworthy flavor, the tomahawk veal chop is an excellent choice. This unique cut of veal combines optimal fat content with flavors released from the bone for a wonderfully rich taste in every bite. Experience thick-cut, juicy, bone-in veal chops like you’ve never had before. Today Gourmet Veal Rib Chops have passed the most rigorous tests, straight from the farm to your plate with zero additives or hormones. They can be grilled, broiled, or roasted to suit any taste, and their subtle flavor provides a perfect palette for rich sauces and spices.
Our bone-in veal chops come in two variations: thick and thicker. Both are butter-soft and juicy, raised and processed in the United States. Today Gourmet has been sourcing these veal chops for over a decade, and we don’t believe you will find better value in a veal chop anywhere else.
With both variations, remove the number of chops you need for the meal and thaw them in the refrigerator (or put them in a bag in cold water if you need them to thaw more quickly). These beauties are wonderful on the grill and perfect for almost any preparation method you desire.
Bought these based on the reviews. Delicious and thick – slightly steak-like texture in a wonderful way so likely modern red veal (aka free range). We grilled them. Individually packaged so could just thaw what we needed. Would buy again. 2nd time purchasing from this seller.
I just took delivery of my 2nd shipment of veal chops. I must say these are of the highest quality from a taste and tenderness standpoint. Joe and his team are here/there to serve and to say I’ve been incredibly impressed and happy is a gross understatement!! I’m in CA and it’s impossible to find veal (for a whole host of reasons that I will not go into…ugh) but finding Today Gourmet was a dream come true. My wife and I are both veal chop junkies; if you are too, then pull the trigger and get these. You will not be disappointed. I thaw and then marinate them in olive oil, crushed back pepper, some fresh rosemary sprigs and a few crushed garlic cloves over night. Bring to room temp, heat a cast iron skillet to smoking hot, salt the chops and sear for about 6 minutes per each side. Rest for 10 minutes. Serve with demi-glace plus sauteed shrooms plus asparagus…..done deal. Again, this product is fantastic. Hope you go for it!!!! Tim
Came in at a decent rate. The dry Ice must have evaporated because there was none in the box when I opened it. However the chops were frozen solid. No spoilage at all. I cant wait to try them. Will leave a good review after eating them. I have a feeling they will be good.
